President Prabowo Subianto recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President personally took time to read the letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. One photo showed President Prabowo engrossed in reading the letters, while another displayed a handwritten note from a student. The caption mentioned a special delivery from the students of Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong.
In one of the letters, a student named Erni Andayani expressed her sincere gratitude to President Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat. She credited the school for providing access to quality education and reigniting her aspirations. Erni’s letter was a touching message of thanks to the President for founding the school and providing opportunities for underprivileged children like her to study with complete facilities and pursue their dreams with peace of mind.
Sekolah Rakyat was established for the 2025–2026 academic year under the management of the Ministry of Social Affairs. The school aims to support children from economically disadvantaged families and currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This initiative has opened doors for students who felt like all opportunities were closed off to them, giving them hope for a brighter future as the Golden Generation of the nation.
